Mighty are they of the stormcloud thrones, and quick to anger, but bounteous to those whom they love.

Crown of Tempests is an exotic helmet for the warlock class, and upon immediate inspection, I noticed an uncanny resemblance to a picture that I keep stumbling onto in the EDZ. The picture can be found in multiple different places, but one of the easier places to find it is above a fireplace in a house right before you reach Maevic Square on Earth.

The portrait is of a female with what looks like to be braided hair. She is also wearing a headband, and (perhaps the most telling sign) large hoop earrings. All of these same features can be found on that of the Crown of Tempests.

Could she be a ‘Tempest’? Is she THE ‘Tempest’? Could she have been a warlock? Why are there so many pictures of her scattered throughout the EDZ – is it simply Bungie being lazy with prop placement or is it really a secretive part of the lore? I’ll let you decide for yourself… I merely wanted to spark the discussion and see if anyone else had found this interesting.
