Pushing her out the door seems harsh. She was dealing with some mental health issues and by all accounts the Spirit were very supportive. So this could be a better backup plan. If Labbé stays, they have one of the better reserve keepers, and if Labbé goes, they have a quality starter. You’d have to imagine Labbé wants to play with her Canadian spot though.

I really like Zadorsky. Does this mean Krieger is out if she is no longer subsidized by the USWNT? Doubtful, but not impossible. Would Krieger switch back to a right-back? Seems unlikely considering Sermani converted her in the first place. And she’s getting up there in age. If Zadorsky is subsidized, then this could be clearing up as much cap space to attempt to resign Catley and Kennedy? Makes the most sense to me...
