Orthodox in despair about Catholicism.

I embrace both and there is no reason to despair about that. I read both Catholic and Orthodox Saints and am enlightened by the beautiful and inspiring words of the great Saints from both traditions. I like Orthodoxy because it leads you directly to the Fathers, who are also Saints in Catholicism. The Catholic Church has the advantage of being more ubiquitous, which makes it easier to find a place to worship in. A Holy place, however, wether it’s Eastern or Oriental Orthodox or Catholic is a holy place nonetheless. I believe the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit dwell in all of them and I feel not despair, but love and admiration for these Bodies that were once One Body. In my mind and in my heart they are still One Body, especially when one considers and ponders deeply about how we still live in a heathen world just like the early Christians did. I find harmony and not disharmony by embracing the fullness of Christianity, both Orthodox and Catholic. I can read Francis de Sales or Faustina (Catholic) and read John of Kronstadt and Nikolai Velimirovich (Eastern Orthodox) and recognize the same Holy Spirit speaking through them. Don’t despair, but find strength instead from being acquainted with both.
