When we started this virus, before it was a pandemic, it was projected that if everyone in the world got covid-19 they had about a 95% chance of recovering. That's assuming you got to the hospital and got the treatment you needed. Now, that is also assuming the virus travels at a rate hospitals and ventilators can keep up with. Sadly, here in America, our hospitals are so flooded patients are dying before they can be seen, ice rinks are being used as makeshift morgues, and testing is so dang slow, it takes days to even get a test in some more crowded areas.

Even if only that 5% were to die (which it's likely to be way more now) 395 million people would have died. We truly need to slow the spread for the sake of our nurses, doctors, and just general public. 395 million was already too many to die, and by being ignorant, we've sentenced even more to die.
