I replied to the dude saying “says the Italian” as if italians aren’t trustworthy enough, despite having the only team racing in Formula 1 since it’s inception which proves otherwise.

We are discussing the dedication and trustworthiness of teams in F1 and the Italian ones are more trustworthy than their german counterparts. Even minardi has been around for decades while BMW left the sport after failing to succeed, so its not even a matter of money.

And the “no shit they are all british” argument makes even less sense in the context of this discussion. Again we are talking about the dedication of German and Italian teams in F1. If a “German” team has to go to the UK and buy an already existing teams I don’t see it’s dedication. If at all, it makes it easier for them to leave again if they get tired of if, as it’s easier to sell to the next privateer.
