[OT] A rider has been killed at the Macau Grand Prix motorcycle event

Oh yeah, every race of motogp etc is a risk. But my god, Macau, Monaco etc is no place for a motorcycle to race. The roads are too narrow, the runoff areas are nonexistant and the barriers are a joke. Shit, they use thicker pillows when I was in gym class 15 years ago. How on earth do they expect anyone to survive a crash on that track. I get the adrenaline rush of racing Isle of Man TT because that's a legendary race in spite of the huge risks, but man. You gotta draw the liine somewhere. A track that even cars can't manage one lap without a pileup should not race motorcycles. There's a lot of discussions in F1 with motogp safety ruining the F1 runoffs, but damn, this is just on another level. Motogp and WSBK need a runoff area. EOD. You can't race tracks like that. Isle of Man TT is the exception.
