Why are you buying AGOTFAN's framing that I'm "disrespecting" Russo brothers...by arguing they are not at the very top tier of directors. It's just lazy and dumb.

Under your rules if I said they were the eight best director working in hollywood I'd be "disrespecting" them because I don't think there are eight directors in that top tier. I wouldn't put them there despite their obvious talent but that's literally the only claim I made in the comment.

I don't want to engage with the fanboy stuff here because it's irrelevant and would obscure my point. Their successes are currently subsumed by the MCU and they don't get the credit a "founder" would have (e.g. if they had been in charge of the initial Avengers films). They've done a surprisingly hard job surprisingly well, but that's
