Our Destiny

@Neo#7074 I think this an awesome move for Bungie. I really hope that now that Bungie is finally truly independent that it can really turn Destiny around. Activision was holding them back. Forsaken was a good first step but the game has a long way to go. I want to see them really handle the game with the same passion and talent that made Halo so successful. Everything from an immersive playable story utilizing what made the Grimoire so amazing, amazing gameplay in PvE and its endgame, an amazing crucible with fair and balanced play, a true competitive mode that is on the level Overwatch is, lots more unique customization options and less reskins, updating the entire weapon system from looks to functionality, cross platform character data and play, little to no rng where it isn’t needed, and just really make Destiny the game it should be.

I am excited for this but I am also skeptical given our tenuous relationship we’ve had with them. Bungie has always been 1 step forward and 2 steps back but now that they own the IP they have no scapegoat. They have no excuses to not immediately turn this game around. Problems need to start getting fixed as soon as they are able to put out fixes. Communication and transparency needs to happen. There is no reason they can give that we won’t see a drastic shift in this game and our relationship with them immediately. If they can’t do this, they might as well throw in the towel right now.
