Our national obsession with homeownership, the large post-war population, female liberation and the introduction of affordable cars reshaped our cities – not necessarily for the better. We must now reshape our cities again to ensure we build an Australia that works for us all.

Women's work isn't negative but it is cynically exploited by corporations.

They just want as many workers possible so they can devalue the labor market, hell they even made children work back in the day. It's even more evidenced by how corporations keep underpaying women because they know that they can do it. If they cared, they would properly pay people. Even government hasn't reformed to fix it.

Unfortunately labor is so devalued (for many reasons but also more workers) that now a family can't live on a single income which used to be the status quo. So it does have a negative side. Is that women's fault? of course not but it's down to people in power not doing things for the right reasons.
