Our New Religion : Humanitarianism is displacing Christianity, but without its redeeming effects.

I find it fascinating that you, as a Christian, consider the commandments to be a "disgusting" "corrupt" and "low bar" of morality, where were you taught to hate God's commandments?

You should read the sermon on the mount because one of the first things Jesus does is tell people that they're held to a much higher standard than the commandments.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

People who were adhering to the 10 commandments only were doing it wrong, and Jesus corrects them and informs them that they're only the bare minimum.
