Our subreddit

In this comment I talked about how I believe the subreddit should be run, but reading through this post and having seen the mod team act for the last two years, I have changed my mind:

The subreddit is already run like that.
The moderators are just fans/users like you and me, who have been voted to be able to enforce some simple but important rules.
They are clearly seperate entities from the Mindcrackers.
They, like they should (and like I said they should in my earlier comment), act in the best interest of the users, even if that best interest does not correspond to the current feelings and spontaneous opinions of these users.

It does not make sense to post the content the Mindcrack alumni are producing here to discuss it thoroughly, since that content is no longer Mindcrack related. Content produced with Mindcrackers? Sure! Discussion about why they left? Why not!? Memorable moments they had on the server? Of course!
That is all Mindcrack related. But as much as some people might think otherwise, most content produced by the VIP crackers does not relate to Mindcrack as an entity or the Mindcrackers as persons in any other way other than that they are good friends of one or more Mindcrackers. By that logic, The Buffalo Wizards' Singleplayer content should be allowed to be posted here, GreatScottLP's SP content, Lorgon111, MookakeLP, etc., since they are all good friends of one or more Mindcrackers.

I find most of the decisions the mod team has made have been fine and I trust them to do well and work in our best interest in the future.
