Sure, the average Chinese person is just trying to get by like you and I. I just think there are dangers we can't ignore. The CCP does genuinely hire Chinese students to spy on each other for wrongthink and wrongspeak. So unfortunately the fact is that Chinese spies are not a conspiracy theory.

Then there's the issue of private sector IP and technology being stolen by Chinese companies, part of that involves Chinese immigrants unfortunately.

I too have met some nice Chinese people, I think generally there's no problem when they come in a small enough number to actually meet the locals and integrate. But when you send over thousands of them to a university it's going to cause problems.
