You find out your teenage son snuck out of your house for a late night rendezvous at his teenage girlfriend's house, whose parents also didn't know. How do you respond?

This, I've seen mutiple posts the past couple days of father's upset about their daughters having sex. Yet the comments on this post before op revealed he had the daughter and not the son, were like "congratulate your son and buy him condoms!" Then as soon as it's a daughter having sex now it's a terrible thing? I have a family member who when his son lost his virginity he took him out for ice cream to celebrate, when his daughter lost her virginity she was grounded and had her phone taken away and tv taken out of her room as well as being screamed at and called slurs..... Why do daughters not get ice cream and condoms and a congratulations ? They lost their virginity at the same age. It's the same thing... Just a teen being a normal teen.
