One time we found an area deep in off trail where there were a bunch of cinderblocks and stones arranged in a sort of circle and ripped up cult pamphlets laying on the ground. For a few months we kept finding more, and would sometimes see a person or two meeting/leaving the area. Only ever found one pamphlet that wasnt ripped up though, and they seemed to be a series. Like the pamphlet would be about 3 pages long and would be continued in the next. But after that it stopped.

A pack of someone's cows got loose and I ran into them about 6 miles deep into a wilderness preserve. They were hanging around wild hogs. Hogs scattered and ran away panicking, this made the cows feel uneasy and look aggressive and get noisy. I just kinda slowly backed away and took another trail. Informed police there's like 40 loose cows and they were like "ok." No idea what became of them.

Another time there were hundreds of birds, different types, literally screaming on the ground and in trees and flapping their wings, just all kinds of noise in one area talking amongst themselves for about 30 minutes. It suddenly got 100% dead quiet, just about 10 seconds before a great blue heron flew low overhead and let out one deep sound that echoed. After it flew past they all flew off the other direction without making any more noise besides the sound of their wings taking off.

Other than that just weird unexplainable noises and random things littered that probably shouldnt be there.
