Outing Ned/Alex Was Wrong

For the record: I don't have any sympathy for Ned. I do have sympathy for Will, Ariel, and their kids though, and I think Will's choice to make this public added an extra blow to the latter, this making it a poor choice imo.

Whatever unhappiness or narcissm etc. drove Ned and Alex to do what they did is not an excuse or justification for the cruelty they've shown to the people who love them most.

An unpopular opinion: boy is it ever!! If I'm going off peoples actual statements in their comments here... it seems a lot of people believe that what he did was fine because they hold the belief that people should do whatever will make them feel best in the moment, with no regard for the consequences to others. There are no rights and no wrongs, all desires and acting upon them is valid. I wish I were making that up but that's the sentiment that been repeated here over and over.

Although they interestingly do not apply this sentiment to what Ned and Alex did...

Everyone else who's fine or happy he did it are likely just people who enjoy consuming spectacles like this with no regard for any party involved. Blood in the water and all that.
