Outraged Viewers Are Calling On TLC To Cancel 19 Kids And Counting after Family Research Council Executive Director and show co-star Josh Duggar admitted to molesting girls

Okay so here's the thing. I don't like the Duggars and I certainly and disagree with most of their lifestyle. However, I am reading the articles surrounding this case and failing to find what they did wrong in this situation. Here is the post Josh Duggar made when publicly admitting to his actions:

"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends, I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling."

So if I'm reading this correctly, Josh confessed to his crimes, which are in no way excusable, and his parents contacted authorities as well as got him help and made that his number one priority. Honestly, what possibly better way to handle a situation like this than that?

From what I can gather, he has resigned from head positions as wells as stepped out of the public eye and made contact with the authorities. Unless we are all under the impression that criminals and those with mental illness cannot be cured and are inherently bad people doomed without redemption, I think it's logical to conclude Josh and his family addressed this very difficult situation in the most mature, safe and constructive way for the victims and the public.

Unless you believe the black and white ideal that criminals are bad people and non criminals are good people, I think it's easy to see this is a person who committed a very disgraceful, violent and damaging act who has done everything possible in his attempts to change the future for himself and his victims. Is our outrage and disgust towards this person appropriate, certainly- it is natural to feel this way and his actions are certainly inexcusable and evil. However, aside from time travel him and his family just proactively made leaps and bounds in a very difficult situation.

I personally applaud the Duggar parents for how they handled the situation their child is in.

But, I still thik that how should be cancelled for other reasons.
