Over 20 jobs (and fired) in the last 10 years… Why? Depression has set in.

Sorry to hear it's been rough. As you've probably noticed, Reddit has a bad habit of always blaming the OP. Doesn't matter what it is, they never want to give the OP the benefit of the doubt and it's always OP's fault. Must be some weird psychological thing.

Anyways, don't give up on it, or yourself. Take those times where it didn't work out as a learning experience to improve for the next time, those are very valuable learning experiences. Maybe call up or email one of those places where it didn't work out and just ask them for honest feedback about why they chose to end the employment as you're looking to improve for future.

It's possible that you just had some really bad luck and those places weren't in a good state to take on new employees.

Once you do have a new job lead, ask your manager what their expectations are so that you know how to be successful and then you can kind of hold them to it if you do all those things but they try to say otherwise.

Also, remember that a lot of people out there have similar experiences as you, but you won't hear people talk about all the jobs they were fired from or where they didn't get hired. People will only talk about the positives.
