Not sure why you are trying to downplay two great offerings. Todd doesn’t do hollow plastic. He likes using a bunch of plastic and weight to his figures and statues, he doesn’t make cheap flimsy stuff.
The Batmobile doesn’t look like a plastic shell like the batmobeast. The canopy opens and snaps into the main body. The back wings have to be attached also. It is hard plastic.
Also, in regards to the Batmobeast plastic shell, it is a monster truck. The fiberglass on a monster truck is cheap/flimsy. Whether he was going for accuracy or cheapness or both, it makes sense.
