Over the past 7 tournaments, Gonzaga is substantially above-expected in March Madness performance

Kansas has won 5 overall national championships. One within the streak you say? Okay. Do you not agree that it is an abnormalitity to have 23 consecutive appearances, and have the success of Gonzaga, and not have a NC? Is there any other team with that stat? It is not immature or not grown up to point that out. Zags are an outlier in that sense. Add in their weaker conference and inability to play up to higher seeds. Most teams would love to have the success of Gonzaga. At the same time, let's not pretend that the Zags are not unique in having that level of success without getting the big prize. At least in recent history I am unaware of a team with so much consecutive success without a national championship which is going to be talked about.
