Lets say you got overcharged $10 on a microwave you bought at a shop.
Do you:
(a) Go to the food court and shout at the top of your voice about how unlawful it is
or
(b) Go back to the store and ask for an explanation?
Hint: It's not generally advised to try option (a) first
Heck, even the BBB states on their complaint form:
Everything you submit will be forwarded to the business within two business days. The business will be asked to respond within 14 days, and if a response is not received, a second request will be made.
So, your first option should be to contact the company in question.
