Overheard at work budget 'required' for building a good gaming PC: ~$2300. This is bullshit yes?

This right here is my current PC that I built a year ago for ~$2400. It would be cheaper now because I got it within a month of DDR4 and X99 and the Haswell-X processors being released.

Notes: - The monitor price is way the fuck off. I got them for like $120 and they weren't even on a very good sale (Like maybe $10 off) - Made a few inexperienced poor choices (Like the antec 900 parts. Not fond of them. I could have gotten better for the price.
