I looked at their investor quarterly report and it’s no surprise they shit the bed on most of their mobile games. They are still heavily invested in Maplestory and to a lesser extent their mobile version. Those two still make them a lot of revenue from and a few of games in the international market like Dungeon Fighter. So I’m sure they they gamble a lot on mobile games no matter how bad their practices are. The reason they can get away with shit for maplestory is because they offer an unrivaled product. You won’t find a 2d platformer mmorpg like it. However the mobile market is so deep and they don’t have any clue how to sustain their product there.
