Overly Risky Thanksgiving

Nanny here and in this time its crazy. I'm in a job were I live alone, change clothes and mask upon arrival at NFs home. I also get tested once monthly. Yesterday I was to join my NF and my brother showed up last min with his kids and food. We've been through alot and after I disclosed that my brother was visiting my NF freaked out.

Honestly being on the blow back side sucks. Everyone has different arrangements and guidelines in place. I'm an introvert. So in my situation since I did a covid test literally a week ago which was negative they've allowed me to do a rapid test for Tuesday which will help eliminate a 14day quarantine following CDC guidelines.

For the 2days I'll be missing they've offered 80% pay for those days. As for Christmas I will be spending time with my family and we've reached a similar understanding. A covid test before I leave and after 4 days quarantine and another test. All with 80% pay.

In this time family and loved ones are dear but all within guidelines and safety measures.
