Anyone know someone to do this in the past 10 years? I heard its pretty hard now. Mainly because it isnt advertised. You basically have to already know the person you want to swap with and get Chiefs involved and hope they both approve it before even being considered by AFPC.

I did an assingment swap way back in 2004 when they were still showing people's personal listings. I believe that went away around 2008. You could even swap CONUS assingments if you paid for the move yourself. I was able to swap and get rid of Dover, one of my jobs busiest and least desirable assignments, for the CRW in McGuire, because the person that wanted Dover had family in Deleware...and I guess thought New Jersey was too far away.

They had fun working 12 hours shifts and deploying every year, while I was in the CRW doing nothing for 5 hours a day with weekends and holidays off while waiting for my next week long bullshit TDY to a cool location that easily could have just been 2 days.
