Overview for Tweetercomics

Landscapes: My suggestion is only /u/AnaphylaxisMan. He may not have mod experrience, but I think he's the only one likely to turn into a good mod if he sticks with it. My gut says the others are not reliable and/or don't have the temperment needed to mod.

Monsters: Better luck with the IM applicants. I think /u/ThunderDash is an easy one to bring on and likely the best bet. Secondly /u/NA-45, /u/theredview, and /u/DawsonPeterson are all good candidates that I think are worth giving a shot too. I think there's a good chance one or more will end up liking the mod work.

Notes:

/u/AnaphylaxisMan

  • Pros: Older, established account. Good karma. Seems mature and nice in comments.
  • Cons: Apparently no mod experience. Has never submitted any art to IL or any other art-related sub. No comments in IL or other IN subs.

/u/ojoemojo

  • Pros: Some mod experience. Has 1 comment in IL, so does appear to be a subscriber.
  • Cons: New account, and history suggests young/immature. Likes to post in high-drama sugreddits. No posts to IL or IN in general. Only art posts are to /r/photoshopbattles. Both were removed for not following title guidelines and reposting.

/u/tail_spin

  • Pros: Older, established account. Seems moderately mature based on history. Has 1 comment in IM, so appear to be familiar with IN at least.
  • Cons: Apparently no mod experience. History shows the vast majority of his overall Reddit activity is in drugs-related subs. Between that and the comment about being busy in Law School, his reliability is questionable. No art-related posts in history.

/u/Zimminar

  • Pros: History seems ok, is helpful in many comments. Has 1 comment in IL, so does appear to be a subscriber.
  • Cons: Apparently no mod experience. Young account. Some drama-sub activity in history. No art-related posts in history.

/u/Infinite_Bananas

  • Pros: Some mod experience. Older, established account. Very good karma. 1 comment in IL and 5 comments in IT; all are fine. Only art posts are to /r/photoshopbattles, but they were good submissions
  • Cons: No posts to any IN subs. No message in applying for mod position. History is filled with very short/shallow comments. Hard to get a real gague on maturity, but probably young.

/u/kroberts11

  • Pros: Old account. Seems young but mature.
  • Cons: Apparently no mod experience. Minimal karma/history. No posts in IN or any art in general. Lurker at best; can't expect much mod activity with so little user activity over 4 years.

/u/GoldYeti

  • Pros: Mod app sounded positive, but that's about it.
  • Cons: Apparently no mod experience. Young account. No posts to any IN subs or any art in general. Lots of drama posts in drama subs. Seems pretty immature.

/u/TakeThatVonHabsburg

  • Pros: Seems positive and helpful in comments.
  • Cons: No mod experience. Account is only a month old, and literally only 8 posts in history. I find it incredibly hard to trust someone without any history. Self-identified as 18

/u/ThunderDash

/u/RockoxTaco

  • Pros: Semi-old account. Friendly and helpful in comments.
  • Cons: No history/karma. Apparently no mod experience. Seems kinda young. Hard to trust without more history.

/u/1007cats

  • Pros: Some mod experience. Established account with good karma. Comments are ok, generally helpful.
  • Cons: No posts or comments in IM or any other IN subs. History shows the vast majority of his overall Reddit activity is in porn subs (hentai/art). Probably not a huge deal, but could be used to cause drama.

/u/NA-45

  • Pros: Good comments, mature and helpful. Said he has non-Reddit mod experience.
  • Cons: No Reddit mod experience. Young account. No posts or comments in IM or any other IN subs. No posts in art subs.

/u/theredview

  • Pros: Old account. Friendly and helpful in comments. Reads as mature. 2 comments in IM, though worth noting they're just from a couple day ago.
  • Cons: No mod experience. Minimal karma/history given old acount, so doesn't post much. No art posts or other activity in art-realted subs.

/u/DawsonPeterson

  • Pros: Semi-old account with ok karma. Friendly and helpful in comments. 12 posts and 3 comments to IM from a coupole years ago, all good content. Artist with some activity in /r/ICanDrawThat and /r/DrawForMe. Mod experience.
  • Cons: Self-identified as 16, though reads as more mature.
