I really like my Glock 26 but I rarely carry it now. It’s mostly a back up or alternate carry for me nowadays.

I would personally get a P365 or P365XL (or Glock 43X). The P365 is way too small for my hands though, so be sure to try one out to know how it feels before you make a decision.

My philosophy behind getting the 26 was I was in the market for my first CCW and knew that I would be able to comfortably carry and conceal a Glock 19 maybe 65% of the time (I wore a lot of athletic wear back then and was oblivious to carry belts). But I knew that I’d carry the 26 closer to 85% of the time, so I went ahead with the 26. I also shot both and the 26 felt surprisingly great in my hands.

Also, I knew that I was going to stay within the Glock realm and that magazines between the 26/19/17/34 were compatible (only one direction though), so I figured I’d get the 26 first to make sure I carry something most of the time and then I’ll end up getting the 19 once I saved up more money.

In the year I had only the 26 I ended up learning a FUCKTON and once I got the 19 conceal carrying was second nature, even with the longer grip.

Nowadays my 26 usually only comes out when carrying in a bellyband because I am hard against removing the wml from my 19 (keeps the gun exactly how I trained with it)

Tldr: get a P365 because the 26 is a thickboi and a 19 is way better for carry (grip and rail), unless you’re already a glock person and are stacked deep with mags and equipment for glock double stack 9mm
