We have spent 20+ trillion dollars on Welfare since 1964 and the poverty rate has moved a grand 0%

Why is your answer to continue throwing more money at the problem ?

Has it occurred to you Welfare dis-incentivized productivity ?

This has been proven with Bill Clinton’s Personable Responsibility Act which saw a huge decline in Welfare recipients.

That decline was reversed when Obama reversed the act and saw an increase in overall recipients.

Unless you have data that proves I’m wrong and welfare is a good thing that propels people upwards instead of keeping them down. I’ll wait.
