Majority of cops are still decent. It's not to the point where I can justify such a low resolution opinion like acab. I can with Communists because that system is just entirely fucked. The law enforcement system is fucked, no question, but there are enough positive examples of police work to justify it as an institution. Otherwise What do you expect when you pile law on top of law and continue indefinitely to rate performance based on infractions busted by volume? But same here. Every bullshit scenario like this is one more chink taken out of that still generally positive opinion.

I get it, it's stressful. But if military personnel can generally by hitting their targets only or face some kind of consequence, cops should be able to, too. Fuckin figure it out.
