First of all, God tells us in the Bible that the homosexual lifestyle is wrong...those are the teachings of our Creator, the law of the land... Obama has waffled back and forth on so many issues, this is just one of them. If he truly believes everyone should be treated with respect and dignity, then he should not be pushing this onto all of us who believe in God and who don't agree with this. And he wants us to believe he has strong moral values? HA! He wouldn't know what moral values were if they jumped up & slapped him... This country has been in the process of being torn down and destroyed from within for years, the attacks on Christians and our values has been accelerated while we are told to be tolerant of the Muslims and other sects...where is their tolerance of our beliefs and rights? Why are the so-called atheists and others allowed to push their agendas on us? The Muslims do not permit homosexuality, it is a sin punishable by death! I hope it never comes to this, but if the country ever becomes under Sharia Law, wonder what will happen to all these people? I know people who subscribe to the gay/lesbian lifestyles and while it is really up to the how they live, I don't agree that they should be given the same rights as a heterosexual married couple. It has nothing to do with politics or bestowing fair treatment... it's about the laws given to us by God and the way we were directed to live our lives according to His plans for us. I know that when my time comes to meet Him face to face, I don't have to worry about being sent to Hell for the sins of my friends and acquaintances...each person will face Him individually and answer for the way they lived their lives. So tired of Obama and his opinions (which are not even his own, but those which he has been told to spew), why doesn't he go somewhere else and try to make a better world? Like Hell...
Also, not all redditors are pro-gay. Dont mistake the upvotes for acceptance. Some of us want to make a better world for our children, with stronger, traditional marriages. I realize that the homosexual agenda has a strong grip on today's 'educated' youth, but that doesn't change the fact that marriage has always been between a man and a woman, and no long-lasting, God-fearing civilization has ever deviated from that conception of marriage.
Please don't paint all redditors with the same brush strokes. Some of us are not as misguided as the remainder.
The majority is with me on this one. Maybe not the majority of redditors, but certainly the majority of Americans, and certainly the majority of people in the world, and certainly the majority of people in human history. I suppose that means nothing to the people of reddit.
In addition, it has been legally well established that once men can marry men, then there is no legal impediment to men marrying horses or chickens or rocks. This is not a matter of opinion, this is simply legal fact.
If you think civilization can function with men marrying chickens then you are so far gone that any attempt at rational discourse will fail.
Again, not just the majority of Americans, but the majority of the world agrees with me on this one.
