Howardcord, I have enjoyed have enjoyed this civil conversation with you. While may not agree on most of the basics when it comes to global warming, we weren't personally disrespectful with each other.

This may be inappropriate but I don't know of any other way to approach this. The conversation we had would have been impossible on the the sub you moderate.

I read the skeptic sub daily. There is good information on nearly every subject, I learn and am entertained by most of the topics discussed there. I have to say the skeptic sub is an asset that I look forward to reading.

Here's the big 'but' you are probably expecting. The sub completely fails when the subject is global warming and the problem is a group of people that are tolerated there.

You commented here and you were fairly treated. You weren't insulted, downvoted and denigrated. Your thoughts were appreciated and discussed honestly in a respectful way any decent person deserves.

That is not what someone gets when they go to your sub if the subject is global warming. You have a feral crew of 6 thugs led by archiesteel who act as if it were their personal domain. Everyone one who is the least bit skeptical gets downvoted and demeaned in the coarsest way possible. What you have and tolerate on your sub is a veritable snakepit run by thugs. Don't believe me? Look up any post with comments regarding global warming and you'll see for yourself.

I don't know if you endorse what happens with the global warming subject on your sub. If you endorse it then discard my observations. If you are a fair-minded person, you might want to pull some boots on and drain that swamp.
