I agree it’s the right move, but I think you’re underselling the city by a mile. I’m 26 and have lived here my entire life.

We have plenty of big draws. You completely forgot about the Colts and Indy 500 as well. Lucas Oil Stadium is arguably the best stadium in the country.

While not necessarily tourist draws, the Indy area in general is thriving. Carmel is consistently rated as one of the nicest places to live in the country. Fishers has grown into a massive city. Not to mention, we have a large public university with nationally renowned schools near downtown Indy and a thriving tech industry. All with a relatively low cost of living.
