Speaking of them, I have an interesting story. So, I used to live in Missouri. Had 19 acres that had a billboard grandfathered in. It had to be grandfathered in because citizens were no longer allowed to erect a billboard on their own property. I got a warning from the previous landowner that CC would be coming around to attempt to trick me into getting rid of my billboard like they did to him once a month. Sure enough with a month or two of me living there these assholes came dressed as city workers telling me they needed to take my billboard down. I told them unless they had a work order or something else official to show me they needed to GTF off my property. I have never seen something so shady in my life. There was no work for me so I only lived there for about 9 months, buy I didn't see them the rest of the time I was there. Now that I think about it I imagine they lined some pockets to make it illegal for citizens to put billboards on their own property. The billboard didn't even have anything on it, just a blank piece of wood, yet they were so threatened by the thought of even losing one single cent of ad revenue that they resorted to these fucked up tactics.
