Amen dude. We are farmers and I, frankly am appaled at the blood lust and 'for the kill and the sport' attitude people everywhere have when it comes to hunting and or shooting pests. They are still worthy of respect most of the time ( feral pigs, dogs and cats are off my list for the damage that they cause the native wildlife).

And to explain why 222 swift. Unfourtantly we also now have feral pigs in my area and they are litterally destroying native bush that has existed for hundreds of years. It makes my blood boil and I wanna do something about it. Kangaroos are getting more and more of a problem as their numbers are well over 5 times the normal native level and just by virtue of that many mouths are stripping the bush and our crops bare.

So when I looked up what my dream rifle would be I wanted something fast. I mean really fast and still had punch but also being light so I could hike with it and shoot from the shoulder standing.

I would get a steyr scout chambered in 222 swift or 222 rem. Im not a fan of the 22 250 as the round is easily affected by the strong wind we have here.
