Palestinians shield Israeli policewoman from rocks thrown by Jewish extremists

Speaking of censorship, notice how that post about Israeli nuclear policy just got wiped. You can still see it through un\eddit (Google it without \; it's a script that recovers deleted comments).

Edit - Won't be able to respond due to ban. If seeing what happened to the guy I copied this from is any indication, anyone who wants to post this should do so from an account they aren't afraid to lose.

If you want more sources, go look at /u/whatiscensorship's (OP) profile. Seems to be quite a few rebuttals he started. I'm not an expert on this. Save this if you want - I doubt it'll stay up for long as the brigades inevitably find it.

For starters the US could stop funding them with billions in aid every year.

Hell according to US law, it's not even legal to give any monetary aid to a nuclear power not signed under the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.

In fact, I'd go as far as to call them a terrorist state after how they blackmailed the US into sending them war aid during the Yom Kippur War by threatening to nuke not only the Middle East but Soviet cities.

Now, they threaten to nuke the world when they don't get their way, including third party non-belligerent nations. That's worse than North Korea.

Pasting a saved comment - Everything below this line is from /u/whatiscensorship who seems to have more on his/her profile.

EDIT - Before anyone accuses me of anti-semitism or whatever else, keep in mind the majority of citations come from Seymour Hersh's book the kicker being Hersh himself is Jewish, born to Jewish parents.

Hersh is the Pulitzer prize winning investigative journalist most famous for his work on the My Lai massacre.

In his book, (direct ebook link below) he cites declassified US/Soviet documents along with interviews with government officials (defense ministers, SIGINT officials, intelligence ministers, even heads of states from all sides - Soviet, Israeli, as well as US.

This much was demonstrated during the Yom Kippur war, when they were seen arming nuclear missiles aimed at various Middle Eastern countries as well as targeting Soviet cities.

A nuclear strike during the cold war undoubtedly would have been assumed to be supported by the US, and therefore MAD would ensure not only for Israel but also the US and Europe.

The name for this Israeli strategy is the Samson Option -

We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: 'Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother.' I consider it all hopeless at this point. We shall have to try to prevent things from coming to that, if at all possible. Our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but rather the second or third. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.[30]

...

Hersh includes two quotations from Israeli leaders. He writes that a "former Israeli govt official" with "first hand knowledge of his government’s nuclear weapons program" told him: We can still remember the smell of Auschwitz and Treblinka. Next time we’ll take all of you with us.[9] And he quotes then Israeli defense minister Ariel Sharon as saying: We are much more important than (Americans) think. We can take the Middle East with us whenever we go.[10]

...

Alan Hart interviewed Golda Meir for the BBC's Panorama programme in April 1971 and asked her "Prime Minister ... You are saying that if ever Israel was in danger of being defeated on the battlefield, it would be prepared to take the region and even the whole world down with it?". Hart continues that, "without the shortest of pauses for reflection, and in the gravel voice that could charm or intimidate American Presidents according to need, Golda replied 'Yes, that's exactly what I am saying'".

If we consider North Korea a "terrorist state", what should we consider a nation with the actual ability to carry out their threats of ending the world?

North Korea still has years if not decades to go in perfecting it's missile systems.

Israel has had the H-bomb for decades along with nuclear subs and missiles along with enough warheads to destroy the world.

For more on this, I highly recommend reading Seymour Hersh's book.

Yes, Van Creveld is a civilian who just so happens to be a prominent military historian and a professor of Security Studies at Tel Aviv university with wide access to Israeli generals.

Another source for Israel threatening Europe comes from a Dimona insider named Mordechai Vanunu who blew the whistle to British newspaper Sunday Times in '86, along with providing pictures of the reactor for proof.

He was (ironically) kidnapped by Mossad in Rome and sentenced to 18 years in prison for espionage and treason. After spending 11 years in solitary, today, he is unable to leave Israel as a political prisoner.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mordechai_Vanunu

Here is an excerpt from an interview he gave after his release -

TILLAWI: Mordechai, there are a lot of nations that have nuclear weapons. What is it about Israel having them that makes you so nervous?

VANUNU: Because Israel wants to use them, to cause genocide and holocaust on other innocent citizens. It has always been a part of Israel’s secret policy. And also by having them, Israel will use them as a threat to avoid making peace with the Arab world as well as imposing her policies on those peoples. As long as she has them, she will continue on in her policies of not making peace, of occupation and of neglecting the Palestinian suffering caused by the refugee camps that have existed for more than 50 years.

TILLAWI: One of the Israeli professors said a few months ago that ‘we have the nuclear capability of hitting every major European city,’ is that true to your knowledge?

VANUNU: Yes, it is true. They can bombard any city all over the world, and not only those in Europe but also those in the United States, and by this threat what they are doing is to send a secret message to any leader and to any government that they have the ability to use them aggressively and to blackmail them, to blackmail Europe and the United States, every where, in every state around the world. It was Europe and the United States who helped them get this power, and now that Israel has it, she is coming back and saying to them ‘We will not obey any orders that you give us. No international law, no international agreement, no UN resolutions,’ and all because of these atomic weapons that they have.

Any more disinformation for me to debunk?

Actually, since my response to Jumbify was buried, I'll repeat it here for visibility...

It is totally reasonable to expect a nuclear capable nation to use its nukes if the nation's destruction is imminent.

Not against neutral parties.

It is totally reasonable for the US/Soviets to nuke each other if it came to it, sure.

It is absolutely unreasonable for the US/Soviets to threaten Switzerland though, when they have done nothing.

When Israel threatened Rome, that's where it crossed the line from reasonable to madness and terrorism.
