Hmm, I will definitely talk to the team about this if you havent sent a request about it yet. In terms of filament waste, yes it sucks sometimes and we are working on reducing it. I can tell you that from our original Palette design the amount of waste has significantly changed and we have introduced things like infill transitioning and side purging which helps speed up a print and use less time up on the waste tower. Unfortunately, these are not yet integrated into CANVAS but are on our radar. If you really would like to optimize for less waste or side purging you are more than welcome to use Chroma with your Palette 2 with whatever slicer you would like.
