Pan-Asianism an Anti-Asian Ideology?

  1. I hate the Corea nonsense. It’s based on one of the aforementioned fictional grievances that Japan spelled it with a K so that Korea came after Japan alphabetically. But I’m reality, Korea (Kingdom of Joseon) switched between Korea and Corea and Japan called it Chosun. The Corea spelling was based on an Italian rendition Cauli of the Chinese pronunciation Gauli for the historical Korean kingdom Goryeo.

  2. Koreans got past the Chinese Exclusion Act but ultimately helped devise their own demise by fanning the flames of anti-Japanese sentiments in the US. When the US restricted immigration from Japan it restricted Koreans too, since Korea was a Japanese colony at that time.
