The pandemic has caused nearly two years of collective trauma. Many people are near a breaking point.

Wow... this thread breathtakingly depressing.
During the past 2 years I was hospitalized twice because of life threatening acute medical issues (not Covid related), nearly went bankrupt, and lost my father, among other things. In the past 6 months, I lost 35 pounds, started going to the gym again almost everyday, switched to a much healthier diet, started a new business, and am starting to enjoy life again.

I keep hearing stories about people assaulting or verbally abusing others because of pretty benign things like having to wear a mask indoors. What kind of weak spineless person does that? I mean, ffs learn some basic coping skills in life and fix your damn head!
