A Pandemic Legion AAR of the Catch Question, by Elise Randolph.

As a line member who only joined up with Brave just before the whole AUTZ drop into GE-8 happened, I have to say that my perspective of the fleets was burn out. Yes, people were showing up to fight. But they weren't enjoying the fights since the end results often seemed to be defeat. It gave a defeatist attitude to a lot of people.

The move out of GE-8, the defense of the final armor timer there, the move out of HED-GP, these were all amazing things to see as someone still relatively new to the game. The content you guys were bringing was good, and arguably, more content then many might ever see when playing EVE.

But even now, running in Sahkt and now Defsunun defense fleets, there's still the attitude of "I don't care who we fight, at least it's not PL," kind of hurts to see. It's not fun that so many of our guys are that burned out on fighting you. And frankly, I can only imagine how fun it would be to see how you guys would react to a 500-1000 Brave fleet popping in on your doorstep. I'm sad that this is unlikely to see for the coming future.

While no doubt, many Brave members are glad to no longer fight PL, a good fight is a good fight. Yes you dropped Supers and Titans. No we couldn't escalate back. But the fight up to then, the fact that you guys would DROP those things almost shows a moral victory to me, that we forced you to pull out the big guns to defeat the subcap fleets we brought to bear.

Anyway, before this gets too long, I just have to say 7o to you /u/Bluemajere and 7o to Pandemic Legion. I may not like the results of your fights against Brave. I might not like your culture that much. I'm not friends with any of your guys. But damn it, I may want to eventually come back to you guys and kill and be whelped and struggle and groan and shout in victory. I respect the battles you brought, and I respect Pandemic Legion as an enemy.

Fly safe. 7o.
