Paper Mario: The Origami King Discussion Megathread

So I just beat the game and have some gripes with it, this will have spoilers for the whole game so even if you own the game, don't unhide the rest if you didn't beat it and care about the plot. <!while Bobby's (bo-bomb) death did feel impactful when if happens, it also established that bo-bombs die when they explode in this game. So later on when you are trying to reach the castle with the airship and need to use the main gun to defend it. It feels really bad as the ammo you are using is bo-bombs. So what the game intends as a fun climatic set piece feels bad to play. !> If you haven't beat the game this is your last chance to not have the ending spoiled. <!The final boss feels easy, the first form with the venamentals is beatable in around four turns. The second phase is cool with Bowser but that brings up some other questions. Like how did Olivia fold Bowser without a magic circle? Why can we never do stuff like that in other parts of the game. Where does all the extra mass come from? Which is especially important with the final phase of the boss battle. Then there is my biggest gripe, the ending. Why doesn't Olivia just exclude herself from the wish. Instead she needlessly sacrifices herself for an unnecessary attempt to make the ending more emotional. Also, the reason the conflict started in the first place made me pretty annoyed. A nice message was written on him that he couldn't really read, and suddenly he wants to kill all toads. Also the whole wish thing came out of nowhere and could've used more build up.!> Sorry for the rant. I just really wanted to get this off my chest.
