A parent tried to start a physical fight in a mall because I confronted her about two comments she made about my son.

Last summer, I pulled my 3 year old out of the way of a moving car in a Whole Foods parking lot. I was also trying to hold groceries and my 1 year old. When we got to my car I was shaking from the adrenaline of my kid almost getting hit and I got down on my sons level and told him how scared mommy got and how dangerous it was. A "concerned man" decided that he was going to give me a talking to after witnessing all of this. He came up to me and threatened to call DCFS on me because I was being too rough with my kid. Ya know, pulling him out of the way of a moving car. He claimed he was a former cop and memorized my license plate.

It was terrifying, he was in my face and no one around me was helping. People kept walking past while this older man was berating us. I eventually just told this guy to leave us alone and go ahead and call the cops while struggling to get my kids into the car and in their car seats. Because we were still in an active parking lot. People are nuts. They see what they want and think their "view" is right. Be careful.
