Had college offers, but no D1, so I decided to just not pursue baseball anymore (like a fucking idiot)

Sorry man I sort of know both sides of this. I played JUCO after high school, and it resulted in me having the best friends I have now at almost 40 years old. I then had the opportunity to play D1 or D2, but instead chose to follow my girlfriend to a D1 school that had no interest in me. I walked on in the fall and partially tore my rotator cuff, they didn't keep me after that. My girlfriend broke up with me eventually. BUUUUTTT, because of the school I went to I got an internship at a job where I met my future wife and still work at the same place today. While it sucks to look back and think of the lost opportunities, I see where I am today with the kids and wife I have now...no regrets.
