Parents of Reddit, what's been the most WTF moment that you've witnessed with how someone interacts with your child?

I was flying on an airplane with my daughter. She is my (adopted) stepdaughter and we have different skin color. I have to pee but I can hold it since I don't want to squeeze past everyone. Ok actually I can't hold it... Then the "fasten seatbelts" light goes on. Fine I'll wait. Tons of delays landing and getting off the plane, etc.

I get off the plane and I can't wait another minute. My daughter is kinda too old to go in the men's room but I'm really iffy about leaving her alone in the airport. I sit her down on our luggage and tell her not to move, I'll be back in 1 minute. I scurry off to the bathroom and pee for a solid minute and run out. Didn't even wash my hands. I see some sort of security trying to scoot the bag out from under my daughter. I hurry over and ask what is the problem. He's asking if I can prove this is my daughter and my luggage.

A couple back and forths... I say I can describe exactly what is in the bag. My daughter is like 7 so she doesn't have I.D. Yes I'm white and she isn't, she's adopted. Eventually he says he needs to secure this unattended bag. I said "clearly this is the most fucking attended bag in this airport, you can't even get it." since my daughter was still sitting on it. Eventually a couple more security officers show up and they decide we're clear. But for a moment I was probably suspected of child trafficking or having some dangerous shit in my luggage.
