Yes it's not only genetic and not ALL of the people on the spectrum want it cured, but ASAN is standing in the way of those and all other genetic diseases being cured, I'm not sure why they are afraid of Cas-9 but they say the potential harm outweighs the definitive good. My point is that they are taking away the rights off all people with genetic diseases by saying we don't want to be forced to be "normal" so that means we shouldn't let anyone have the option to decide if they want to be cured. They are also trying to keep people being born with these potential harmful genetic defects, yet they say it is only negative to cure people who already have it. I am not for forcing this but I believe it is unfair to force everyone to keep genetic diseases that kill and permanently debilitate people who need these treatments because they don't need a cure to live a long and productive life
