Parkey’s kick was tipped at line

Not to hate on Parkey. But he put nine points on the board because that is literally all he has to do. He doesn't have to read a defense, or manage the offense, or continue to make plays from nothing. He kicks a ball with virtually no resistance through an upright. He practices it over and over and over, this one thing. He's paid millions to do only that. Im sure it's not something everyone can do, and it's much harder than it looks. But it's literally his profession.

I want to, but I can't get on that train that forgives him because he usually does the one thing he's required to do. So yeah, it was kind of a fluke because this one happened to be tipped. But tipped or not, how many of us can say we didn't see this as a very real possibility, tipped or not? You shouldn't have to even have that thought about your kicker. Maybe we've just been spoiled by Gould.

I got a feeling Parkey is going to go through a phase of deep depression, then train his fucking ass off and nail every one next year. Hope the fanbase doesn't give him too much shit.
