Iam manic depressive and I know enough I should not have a gun during a manic episode. I do not think I would be violent but I would probably do something dumb like try to clean it with distilled water to get the evil people to stop using guns. I tend to get in manic episodes the delusion I can bring the world together and make things right. Or I think the world is ending and God is coming back so I would throw it away and some criminal would find it and kill someone. I do not need to have a gun. I'm just being very honest. Mentally ill people should not have guns. Those that have experienced psychotic breaks with reality should not. I also get amnesia during an episode and would forget the whole thing. So I have that going for me I guess. :)
