Parler: We warned the FBI more than 50 times before the Capitol riot

It’s everyone’s responsibility to meet speech they don’t like with more, preferably better reasoned speech. (I realize there are situations which makes this difficult if there exists an imbalance of privilege). You’re obviously a good person with good intention. My concern (which I may have even considered a little too slippery slope 5-6 years ago) for what you are proposing is that people who are not good intentioned will hijack any laws on language, clutch at pearls, pretend to feel offended and threatened by (let’s be honest) anything their minority neighbors say, and will start policing their language. This not only would be politically advantageous for the right that already uses this strategy to tone police political discussions about civil rights, but I believe it would lead to cultural damage across various communities.
