[Part 1] News for Romance Writers, Editors and Publishers: Stop romanticizing rape, abuse, stalking and toxic relationships in romance novels.

What bothers me is that violence against man is tolerated, no one complains, but what happens to a female character is violence against all women in existence.

Technically, are not they both wrong? People write everything down for shock value.

Have you watched Once Upon a Time? A female lead character raped a man for three decades and killed him. , but no character talks about it. If the genres were reversed, this would have been canceled since the first season.

And I do not want to be rude, but cursing makes you look like a bigot. Not a good thing to do if you want some credibility. But it seems that people feel stronger and more valid acting in this way.

I'm not saying what to do, just commenting.
