Part 3- My first time playing Halo's campaign.

What should I be paying attention to?

Cause I am catching plenty of details that contradict the words being said by the NPC's.

I think if anything, I am paying too much attention.

Cause I don't know why we are fighting a war yet, except for one line from the Captain. The same captain that is fervently seeking a weapon of mass destruction and sent a commando down to a planet to kill a bunch of aliens in their religious temple.

I don't trust the Captain or his motivations. Too many inconsistencies exist between the words they speak and the actions they take for me to ignore. Maybe its all just poor game design and the developers didn't really pay attention to basic details, like having Foehammer fly into the depths of the ring only to emerge again on the outside... or telling Master chief to hold on to Cortana, no matter what, and then Cortana is totes okay being left in the control room.

But... since Halo is the greatest franchise to ever emerge from the Xbox, I am not going to just chalk it up to poor game direction. And since its not being chalked up to bad direction, I need to fill in the blanks with what makes the most sense: The human NPC's are purposely keeping Master Cheif in the dark.
