Part-Time Tennis Man Beats World No. 34 In Triumph Of The Everyman

This is such a cheeky, mean-spirited article. I wonder what the author was thinking when he began his piece by belittling the career of the man who serves as the Goliath to be overthrown. Aside from how unnecessary it is, how in the world does that make the story of Ouahab's success more compelling?

Then to bury the proper lede, which is that Ouahab definitely could have been a pro contender but was hamstrung at nearly every turn by the bureaucracy of the country he chose to represent, in order to make another unnecessary comment about how he looks like a part time player...I mean... This article really deserved another round of edits, and probably another round after that. It could have also used more actual content, instead of the 3/4 it lifted from a 2015 interview.

I've read Nathan's content, and for the most part it's serviceable and at times even entertaining. He's good when he riffs off things. But this has the potential to be a truly interesting story about a part of the sport that fans rarely consider. I hope that a proper journalist will give it the treatment it deserves.
