I’m sorry you had to experience all that :/. It’s good you’re venting and trying to talk to SOMEONE (r/sex). I agree with the other comment, whenever you get the chance (and you’re comfortable/calm), speak to your husband. He obviously saw the sexual experience in a different light than you so explain to him your POV, (basically what you wrote in this post). Also, IMHO, I do commend your husband for trying to do something different, but I guess you both are still trying to learn how to communicate in the bedroom. Consider this a learning experience. Actually I was just watching a film last night, where the couple tried to spice things up and the husband got too rough and the wife freaked out. Turned out she had a traumatic experience in her past.

Do you have any past traumas that might have caused your reaction, that your husband doesn’t know about? Also, since you both are trying new things to get out of a “dead bedroom,” I’d recommend a safe word, so neither of y’all end up hurting each other.
